Usually I go for something wacky or ridiculous for my featured ads, but this time I went for something pretty — and not that old. What we have here is a 1986 ad for Brock’s Display Fireworks.
However, Brock’s itself is a very old company — it was formed in 1698 by John Brock. Brock’s supplied the fireworks for the official peace displays to mark the ends of World War I and II.
Plus, how many companies can say they’ve been around for more than 300 years? That’s some impressive longevity.
