This is a recent Gawker headline: “Sport Coats and Jeans: Not Okay.”
My thoughts: I have never once in my entire life thought twice about men pairing jackets with jeans, and I’m a person who thinks twice about nearly everything.
Really, there’s not a lot of options for men to hit that look between casual and dressed up. So just let them have their sports jackets with jeans.
Loosen up, Gawker.
